Question by bigtjeeper: Where do you find parts for a 1988 GMC C6000 box truck?
I have a 1988 GMC C6000 24′ Box Truck (retired Uxaul moving truck) I need brake lines right now but I also need to know a good source for parts in the future. Autoparts stores don’t have trucks this size in thier database. They just scratch thier heads when I try to explain what it is. It has a 454 gas motor so that’s not too hard to find parts for but everything else seems to be a needle in a haystack. Uxaul has a website with parts for thier old fleet but it doesn’t list anything for the C6000 anymore. How about RV dealerships, might they be a source for these big truck parts? Please Help! I’m looking for feedback from other people with commercial vehicles or ppl in the industry who fix them …. I know most of the common autoparts websites and have most of the catalogs they just don’t have anything for the commercial vehicles.

I go to a www Autoone they are great and may help you find parts the guys I talk to are gear heads as much as my shop

i dont know where you live but this one place in pa says they have every part imaginable when its in stock…… you just have to take it out yourself….. goto http://www.harrysupullit.com
